I created and piloted the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission’s monthly BRTC Newsletter in November 2025. Now I manage it as an ongoing core project in my planner and policy analyst role. I worked closely with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council’s communications staff, regional transit providers, and advocacy partners. Together, we developed the publication’s structure, visual layout, and editorial voice. This was done to ensure residents, riders, and partners receive a clear, consistent snapshot of regional transit news each month.

Each issue highlights BRTC initiatives, upcoming meetings, legislative and policy updates, and news from local transit providers. It also includes recurring features such as “Transit Benefit of the Month” and “This Month in Transit History.” I handle topic planning, outreach for content, copywriting, and editing. I also create basic data visualizations. I coordinate distribution through our Public Input engagement platform and partner channels. My focus is on steadily growing readership and engagement across the Baltimore region.
